“Know your story. Own your story. Tell your story...” These words were left in the minds and impressed upon the hearts of students who attended the Ontario ACF Winter Retreat February 15-18, 2019. Hosted at the beautiful Camp Frenda, this was a 4-day, power-packed weekend that saw students rally together, grow, worship, and build friendships under the theme of “Discipleship Defined."

Pastor Daniel Saugh speaking during the retreat.

Pastor Daniel Saugh, senior pastor of the Barrie Seventh-day Adventist Church, was the keynote speaker and spoke to students on God’s purpose for their lives as well as being leaders on campus who can disciple others to be followers of Christ!

The retreat also saw uplifting praise and worship, new friendships being established, ACF clubs around the province sharing about their ministry, and a lot of prayer! In the downtime, students experienced team-building activities led by our mentors, went on hikes, and had a blast tubing on the hill! At the end of the retreat, though it was sad to go, students left feeling a renewed understanding of ACF’s vision on public campuses—Reach the Campus, Change the World!
