Lighthouse ACF Church on Campus 2026
There's something particularly heartwarming about seeing young people gather. Finding a friend you hadn't seen in a long time, catching up with old acquaintances, and meeting new like-minded people to share your faith — that was the heart of the Church on Campus event hosted by Lighthouse ACF, on March 14th, 2026.

On the Eastern side of Ontario, a tradition has formed where two large Adventist fellowships gather during the first and second weeks of March for student-aged youth. Lighthouse ACF, the University of Ottawa’s Adventist Christian Fellowship chapter, showed us the strength of the youth in Eastern Ontario with over 125 registered attendees and a service unlike any other.
As Sabbath School started, the group gathered in the main room and transitioned into four breakout groups. Many were able to share their thoughts on how prayer works, especially in today's day and age. A lively Kahoot game followed, leading into the Divine Worship service. In attendance, more than 125 were blessed by the words of Pastor Tiffany Mars, former Co-chair of AYO’s Teens Ministry. Her message reassured us that God will always guide us if we remain open to His guidance. The message Sister Tiffany shared truly embodied what it means to be "more than just a believer."
Overall, it was the incessant effort of the Lighthouse team that made this event a success. It served as a powerful reminder that there is always a place for you in this community. If you missed out on this tradition, we encourage you to join us for our next gathering. Let’s continue to support one another, grow in our faith, and be open to the guidance that Pastor Tiffany so powerfully spoke about. See you at the next one
