Centred around the theme “Here to Serve, Sent by Love,” the institute encouraged students to deepen their faith and reminded them of the calling God has placed on their lives as student leaders on their campuses.

Ontario youth leaders journeyed to Newfoundland where they would spend the next 5 days attending the Canadian Adventist Youth Summit (CAYS) under the title “Rise: Empowering Youth Leaders for Mission”.

What a blessing it was to witness young people across Western Ontario actively engaged in worship and outreach while earnestly praying one for another and sharing their journey of faith and trust in God.

For the afternoon, we were split up into several groups. One group took care packages to be distributed to unhoused people. Several groups went out to connect with those who were out and about through offering cards, glow sticks, and/or prayer.

Metro North Central’s annual Youth Week of Prayer, held from March 15-21 2026, was a reminder of what happens when our community comes together to be more like Jesus.

Love Week Challenge: Ontario youth ministry launched a week of outreach and kindness, inspired by 1 John 4:19. The initiative encouraged daily acts of compassion (like Messages of Hope Monday and Faith in Action Friday) across regions. This effort is building a culture of empathy and community service among young Adventists.
